Delaware Technical Community College offers evening phlebotomy classes which consist of 135 class hours and can be completed in 7 weeks. Upon completion of the program the student will be eligible to sit for the national certification exam. During the course of the program they will learn through lab activities and classroom lecture and will be taught HIPAA guidelines, medical terminology, blood collection methods and anatomy and physiology.
