Phlebotomy Certification Program at MEDRIGHT – Ferndale, MI

The accredited Phlebotomy Certificate Program at MEDRIGHT, Professional Medical Education, Ferndale, MI consist of 2 components. The first component is classroom instruction, where students gain knowledge in the history, theory and step by step instruction on how to safely perform venipunctures and laboratory time. The second component is clinical rotations, where students use the equipment found at hospitals and laboratories.

Once the student becomes comfortable with the technique of drawing blood using both the winged infusion set and evacuated tube system, they begin drawing blood on actual people.
