Anyone who is interested in learning phlebotomy, should realize that the many free online courses available, will not result in a university credit. Although the regulation of phlebotomists varies state by state, the completion of formal training with an exam, is required to obtain a university credit. The free courses outlined below could contain some of the same information as in a formal course, but will not prepare the student to work in phlebotomy.
